Siem Reap, the capital city of Siem Reap Province in north-west Cambodia, and the gateway to the Angkor region.

In this photography tour, you will get the chance to witness the magnificence of Angkor Wat, the central feature of Angkor UNESCO World Heritage Site containing the remains of the Khmer civilization.



Day 1: Siem Reap – Arrival

Pick up from Siem Reap airport by private guide & driver, then transfer to check in the hotel. Free and leisure until dinner time. Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 2: Siem Reap – Special Angkor Tour

At 4.30am, depart for Angkor Wat to capture amazing Angkor sunrise. This is the best time to capture sunrise as the sun slowly make its way up and reflected on the sandstone of Angkor Wat. Also to view the reflection of amazing Angkor temple. Return to hotel for breakfast and a short break. After breakfast, visit the overgrowth jungle temple of Ta Prohm, where the famous tree growing on the towers of the temple is. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. After Ta Prohm, visit Ta Keo and Thommanon temples.
Lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch, visit Banteay Kdei (a Buddhist temple, meaning “A Citadel of Chambers”, also known as “Citadel of Monks’ cells”), East Mebon and Pre Rup. Enjoy the sunset and photography from the large temple of Pre Rup that was built since 10 CE.
Dinner with Cambodia Apsara traditional dancing performance show.

Day 3: Siem Reap – Angkor Complexes

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, depart hotel at 7.30am for the great former city of Angkor Thom (The great city, 830 years old). Half of the day will be spent exploring the ancient ruins of South gate of Angkor Thom (famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone), the impressive Bayon temple, Baphuon, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Terrace of the Elephant, the Terrace of the Leper King.
Lunch at local Restaurant.
After lunch, explore the magnificent ancient archaeological wonder of the world, Angkor Wat until sunset. Angkor Wat is the biggest Hindu temple in Cambodia, built by King Suryavarman II in 12th century dedicated to Vishnu.
Dinner at local restaurant. After dinner, visit Angkor night market.

Day 4: Siem Reap – Remote area temple

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, depart hotel at 7.30am and drive to the remote Beng Mealea temple through the typical Khmer countryside (60km from Siem Reap). There is a lot to see in the approximate 2 hours drive as it takes you through many lively villages and kilometers of rice paddy field. Explore the long abandoned temple from the 11th century, strangled by the jungle.
Lunch at local restaurant.
After lunch, proceed to the floating village on Tonle Sap for sunset photography. Tonle Sap lake is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South-east Asia and flows into Tonle Sap river, joining the Mekong river in Phnom Penh. We will see fishermen’s “floating village” with floating schools, floating police station etc. The “village” move from place to place following water levels and current.

Day 5: Siem Reap – Floating Village

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, we make a last stop to Banteay Srei (the citadel woman Hindu temple) and Banteay Samre.
Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to the airport for departure flight back to Singapore.
