The annual wildebeest migration is arguably the most spectacular wildlife migration. It is known as the greatest show on earth – with good reason! What could be more spectacular than 1,500,000 wildebeest following some 200,000 zebra in a 2,000 km round pilgrimage in an annual cycle of life and death?

The various stages of the migration provide distinctly different experiences – from the vast herds grazing sedately in the Serengeti, to the calving season which invariably attracts an array of predators lurking on the fringe waiting to prey on the vulnerable newborns, to the thrilling river-crossing where toothy crocodiles lie in wait for the herds.

Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of African wildlife – inside a self-contained world teeming with animals. This tour will provide you with some incredible photographic opportunities – from close encounters with lions and elephants and predators hunting, to huge herds of migrating zebra and wildebeest and breath-taking sunsets and plains.
